If you were referred to my office by your insurance company, you may not be sure if you reached the correct person. My legal name is Carol A. Anderson and my practice name is C. Annette Anderson. Socially and professionally I use my middle name, Annette.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Texas and am certified to provide supervision for Social Workers seeking their licensure for independent practice.
I have worked for nonprofit agencies in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in foster care, adoption, in-home prevention, Native American services, and child/adult counseling since 1980. I opened my own Private Practice in Clinical Social Work in 1987.
Beginning March 2020, my practice changed to 100% teletherapy using a telehealth service through Jituzu.com. Jituzu protects your privacy so that our counseling sessions cannot be recorded or viewed by an unauthorized user.
All clients are required to set up an account through this service. On occasion, at the request of a client, I am willing to use other types of online video or telephone services if attempts to log in to Jituzu on the day and time of your appointment have been completely unsuccessful.
Although we have made great strides in Covid 19 vaccinations and slowing the spread of Covid 19, I will continue to use electronic communication for therapy.
